Deaf Sunday school/Bible study class meets at 8:30 am Sunday mornings. We are studying "Explore the Bible" Bible studies for the deaf from LifeWay. Each student has their own study guide for the weekly lesson & they are also given & encouraged to use the daily Bible study, Open Windows. Our class currently has both Deaf & Hard of hearing adults . We meet together, socialize, & drink coffee for the first 15 minutes, then we get into the studies.
We meet in the last room on the right, in the downstairs hall across from the choir room.
We have all of the New Testament & the following books of the Old Testament on DVD: Genesis, Exodus, Ruth/Jonah, Joshua, Judges, 1 Samuel, Ezra/Nehemiah, Esther, and Daniel in ASL. We use these DVDs to read over the Bible together when they match the study.
