Prayer Ministry

Prayer is a priority at Circle Drive. Matthew 21:13 reflects the heart of our church family. "My house will be called a house of prayer."

In January 2007, we renovated a room in our church building, and dedicated it as our prayer room. Members can use this room throughout the week, anytime the building is open, utilizing the prayer lists that are updated weekly.

GOD's 100

We are inviting members of our church family to become a part of a team of mighty prayer warriors who are committed to praying for the ministry of Circle Drive Baptist Church. Each month these team members will receive a monthly prayer guide. It contains prayer requests from our music ministry and student ministries. It also contains churchwide requests, as well as a prayer section for "Making Disciples - future growth." GOD's 100 prayer team can use these guides in their daily devotions, in times of prayer with their spouses, in family devotions, in a personal prayer time during a lunch break, or even call up another member of the church and pray over the phone.

Matthew 7:7-8 says: "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened."

The late Dr. Jerry Falwell once said: "The size of your God, Determines the size of your prayer request. The size of your prayer request, Determines the size of your answers."

Hour of Power

Every Saturday: 9:00 AM in the Sanctuary
The Hour of Power is open to anyone who wants to participate. Men and women meet every Saturday morning at 9:00 AM to pray for the upcoming Sunday church services and any specific needs concerning our church.

Mid-Week Prayer Service

Wednesdays: 6:30 PM in the Chapel
These prayer groups meet every Wednesday night and are open to everyone. This special time of prayer is devoted to praying for specific individual requests, as well as our families, our church, our community and our nation.
