Pastor Mike leads teams every year to climb 14,000 ft. mountains (known as 14ers) in Colorado. In the past, teams have hiked Mt. Sherman, Mt. Elbert (the 3rd highest mountain in the Continental United States and the tallest 14er in Colorado), Mt. Princeton, Pike’s Peak, Mt. Evans, Mt. Yale, Mt. Democrat, Mt. Lincoln, Mt. Bross, Huron Peak, Torreys Peak, Grays Peak, Mt. Cameron, Mt. Bedford, and Mt. Oxford. Those who comprise these teams must be in excellent physical shape. Experience the challenge of the hike, and also enjoy the spectacular views of GOD’s awesome creation from “high up.” If you are interested in hiking 14ers, contact Pastor Mike for details on the next hike.
The 14er club has 4 hikes scheduled this year. The first hike is one of the "easier" 14ers. If you have never hiked a 14er, and would like to try, the first one would be the best for you. You do need, however, to work out on a regular basis if you attempt the hike. The July hike include two 14ers in one day. Here are the 14,000+ foot. mountains and the dates:
